Gavin weighed his choices. It was only a matter of time before he lost his life due to uttering something carelessly.

Whose hand could be more beneficial to hold?

How can I turn this crisis into an opportunity?

Just when he was breaking out in a cold sweat to gain time….

Bang!

A bullet lodged in Gavin’s thigh.

“Argh!”

Red blood splattered and Gavin’s body bent forward. He kept screaming. However, next thing he knew, a foot was stomped down on Gavin’s opposite leg.

The intense pain twisting his limbs made his eyes turn white.

“Hey, you crazy bastard!”

A shocked Gavin twisted his back and his bleeding legs trembled. To be precise, his body was trembling and he was not totally sane. He screamed so hard that his voice turned into a harsh grating noise.

Giulio, who had put down the heated gun on the table, approached and crouched down in front of the bleeding man, and grabbed his trembling chin.

“I didn’t come to chat with you. Tell me, where is Rose? Judging by the data, she has a sick mother who she has just moved… And there’s no records of her departure. Where is she?”

Saliva dripped from Gavin’s gaping mouth. Even after seeing him bleed excessively, Giulio still remained calm. He pressed on his knee, opening the wound again and inflicting a new wave of pain.

“If you leave it like this, you will die. Your partner, who has just arrived outside, will also die with you. You’ll go into a shock soon and you’ll be uttering nonsense before long, but I’d still not let you go. What do you say? Is it worth your life? I thought Rose grew up with a single parent… But she had a happy family.”

Gavin’s bloodshot eyes trembled. The gunshot wound to his thigh inflicted a terrifying pain that even agents trained to tolerate pain would struggle to overcome. He gasped, holding his breath, and pursed his lips together. Anger flashed in Giulio’s eyes when he brought his ears closer to him.

“That’s rich coming from you.”

After shaking his head a few times, Giulio stood up and opened the blinds to see the woman getting out of the car. She checked the time and then after waiting around outside eventually walked forward and rang the bell. Giulio pushed the chair Gavin was sitting on with his foot and knocked it over. Gavin screamed. And at the same time, a bullet lodged in the wheel of the car the woman was riding in.

Surprised, the woman turned around, drawing her gun. When she realized that the bullet had been shot from somewhere nearby, she went back to her car and watched her surroundings.

“If I throw you somewhere in the sea… There would be nothing you could do. Will you tell her to come find you? Of course, if you survive.”

But Gavin didn’t bother to reply.

Giulio put the bullets, his laptop, and papers along with a gun with a silencer, glared daggers at the stunned Gavin without emotion, and left the house. Then he climbed into the waiting car, leaving the woman behind who was still watching her surroundings warily.

Romano, who took the wheel, looked at Giulio’s blood-stained profile and offered him his handkerchief. Giulio took his handkerchief with a tired expression and wiped his face.

“Let’s go.”

It was a better night than she originally thought.

Sei curled up as if embracing the light that had fallen on the white sheet. Then Yuri, who was lying behind her, stretched out his arm and locked her in his bosom so that she couldn’t move an inch.

She reached back and touched his hair. How could it feel so good when they cuddled like this?

Everything that happened last night felt like a dream.

“Shall we go for a swim? There is no one on this ship.”

“What about Stefan and Kirill?”

“They should have gone back on their own. There is no room left on the ship.”

Sei turned to face Yuri. The beautiful face of the man who woke up from his sleep was very close. He smiled innocently and pressed his lips to her forehead.

“Let’s swim together. It’d help us wake up. Or else I’ll keep teasing you.”

“Ugh… But the water’s too cold.”

“I wanted to swim with you in Nice last time.”

His lips descended down her neck, teased her breast, and gradually headed down. He bit the inside of her snow-white thigh, then lifted her leg and licked the fluid that had leaked out.

The sound of Stefan’s clearing of his throat along with the knock on the door, pierced through Sei’s hazy mind.

“Yuri!” She shouted, but he had already heard it. Yuri covered her naked body with a thin sheet and left the bed. He opened the door without hesitation, not wearing a single thread. But Stefan couldn’t take a single step inside.

Yuri, who was blocking the door, lifted a nearby gun, put it over his shoulder, and leaned against it to prevent him from entering. Surprised, Sei patted her chest.

If she had followed Yuri’s words and gone out to the deck like this, it was obvious what would’ve happened.

Stefan, who looked unusually serious, whispered in a low voice. Perhaps it was unwelcome news. Yuri closed the door and returned with a firm expression. Seeing her curious expression, he climbed onto the bed, licked her cheek, and said with a long sigh, “Gavin Smith was shot in his house last night. He is currently unconscious in the intensive care unit and… It is said that Giulio Parenti’s prints were all over the house. I don’t think he was the one who was in that private jet.”
